ShutterCount displays the number of shutter actuations (the shutter count) of your Canon EOS digital camera. It is simple to use – download the app, connect your camera via USB, launch the app and get your shutter count! Great if you're looking to buy a used camera as well. However, it isn't currently showing the proper serial number, but I've reported the issue to the ShutterCount App makers and they're looking into it. I bought ShutterCount immediately upon seeing it (granted it is currently only $2.99 so it wasn't a big expense) and it reported what seems appropriate for my shutter count on the Canon EOS 5D Mark III. Well now, there's a new player in the game! Just released this week, the ShutterCount app will now easily give you an accurate count of the number of photos you've taken with your Canon DSLR!
